Chapter 1: Offenses
Duplicate Topics and Posts: Please, if you haven't gotten a reply in a topic, don't make a duplicate topic to attract more attention. This is considered SPAM. The same rule applies for duplicate posts. If you accidentally happen to create a duplicate topic or post, please notify a moderator, they will take care of it.
Spam: Spam is a very broad category. Basically, it is just useless information, threads, and posts. Duplicate topics and posts fit into this, as well as useless topics, post, and irrelevant topic titles ex: Muffins are Coolz.
Furthermore, postcount frenzy is also considered spam. However this involves posting constantly just to boost your post count.
ROMS'S and Copyrighted Material: No, absolutely no ROMS, they could get the site shut down. The only things for download on this site will be image files and Zelda Classic .qst files. You cannot claim to own something that isn't yours. This happens to be the most severe offence on this site, DO NOT BREAK THIS RULE! You are allowed to talk about some copyrighted material ex: Video Games, however that is common sense, talking about ROMS, isn't. You are allowed to talk about Let's Play's and videos featuring ROMS and ROM hacks, however you cannot post a download link.
Offensive and Mature Content/Language: By mature language, I'm talking about cursing. Not allowed. Words Like F*** have been already censored, and words that aren't as bad like cr** and sh** happen to be censored. No pornographic content, I won't allow it, and forumotion itself doesn't allow it, or it will take down the site. Please just remember to think of other people when posting. Some people are more sensitive and responsible, and dislike/ or are to young for mature content.
Flaming and Trolling: Flaming,trolling,bigotry, and disrespecting staff is not allowed. These are common terms on forums, search them up if you don't know what they mean.
Advertisement: No.
Rent a Mod: This is acting like or doing the job of a mod when you clearly aren't.
Consecutive posting: Double posting is fine if you wait 12 hours before posting a consecutive post. Triple posting is only allowed after waiting 48 hours from posting the second post. Any more consecutive posts aren't allowed, unless the thread is a quest project thread, and you need to post an update, consecutive posting is always allowed for the quest developers in that thread.

Notice: A friendly little message from a mod just to inform you that you have broken the rules and that can you please just not do it again. It doesn't mean you are in trouble, it's meant to point you in the right direction.
Warning: When you have repeated a minor offence, or have done something major, like posting a download link to a ROM, you will get a warning. They are more severe and not as friendly, and are made to tell to stop what you are doing or a consequence will take place.
Ban: The consequence, you are not allowed on the site. Most of the time it's not a permanent ban, but either way you aren't allowed here.
-Ban Evasion: Ban evasion is when you create a second account to avoid your ban. If this second account is proved to be you, the second account will be banned, and the ban on your previous account will be lengthened, most likely to a permanent ban.
These are the rules, follow them, and most importantly, have fun posting, and use common sense.
